Showa EERA™ Electronically controlled suspension
All Africa Twin ES variants include Showa EERA™ suspension that tailors damping and spring preload to suit different weights and riding conditions. It offers four settings—SOFT, HARD, MID, and OFF-ROAD-allowing you to adjust the suspension to match the terrain. The rear spring preload can be electronically adjusted for smooth handling under various loads, with presets for solo riding, solo with luggage, two-up, and two-up with luggage.
1084cc liquid-cooled Unicam® parallel-twin engine
The parallel-twin engine provides impressive torque throughout the entire rev range, whether you’re navigating off-road trails or cruising down open highways. The 24YM features revised valve timing and increased compression to maintain the engine’s peak power output under heavy loads. The new layout allows the front wheel to tuck in closer to the engine, shortening the wheelbase and increasing the bike’s agility both on and off-road.
Throttle By Wire (TBW)
TBW technology offers precise and responsive acceleration control. The system electronically manages throttle input for smooth and consistent power delivery over changing surfaces. Choose from four distinct riding modes – Tour, Urban, Gravel and Off-Road – and tailor the throttle response to your riding style.
New adjustable rally windscreen

The 24YM now features tubeless tyres as standard on the front and rear rims. The revised spoke design allows you to perform quick roadside repairs without having to remove the wheel, so you can get you back on track as quickly as possible.
